To introduce myself, here are some Jeff facts:
  • Born in Vallejo, California in 1961.
  • Oldest of 5 children.
  • Graduated from Kamiakin High School in Kennewick, Washington, in 1979.
  • Served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Arizona from 1981 to 1983.
  • Married Tracy in 1984 in the Jordan River Temple in Utah.
  • Graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in 1987 with a BS in Electrical Engineering.
  • Four children: Brennen, Shannon, Dallin, and Aerin.
  • Worked and lived in Silicon Valley since 1987.
  • Caregiver of adult son Brennen who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
  • Adopted Aerin from China in 2001. Follow her antics here.
  • Lost over 100 pounds in 2004/5. On purpose. Now exercise a lot:
    • Ran first 5K in 2005.
    • Rode first Century, ran first 10K, and attempted first Triathlon, in 2006.
    • Ran first half marathon and full marathon in 2007.
    • Currently, I try to race in a 5K each month.

  • Shannon married in 2007, so I'm due for a mid-life crisis about now.
